Welding Inspector

As an inspector, you will be the main responsible of ensuring that 3. party and customer activities performed per supplier is done under all agreed alignments. You will create one inspection report per activity and deliver this to the responsible SQD specialist and/or the Audit & Inspection manager.

Must have:

  • ISO 9001 Intern
  • OD 502 understanding
  • Welding DIN EN 1090 or similar
  • NDT MT, UT, VT Level 1 or 2
  • Frosio Level 1 or 2
  • Documentation review related to drawings and specifications
  • English at B level oral and writing

  • Up to 5 travel days per week must be expected

Work tasks in scope:
As an inspector, you will be the main responsible of ensuring that 3. party and customer activities performed per supplier is done under all agreed alignments. You will create one inspection report per activity and deliver this to the responsible SQD specialist and/or the Audit & Inspection manager. You must ensure that all NCR are registered according to internal processes and systems with the correct level of evidence that components are not produced according to specifications and standards.

Work tasks out of scope:
You will not be the responsible party for the overall quality or certification. Meaning that if any deviations do occur - this information must be delivered to the main stakeholder at the company. You are not allowed to challenge the supplier’s setup in relation to certification but shall deliver any ideas to the responsible SQD and Cc the Audit & Inspection Manager as soon as identified.
